Before we delve into the proposal of this book, let us observe something interesting: chaos is present in almost all cultures through their myths and narratives.
And there is a reason for this. This is the starting point for us to understand the first mental, psychic, and spiritual state in which the soul is enclosed.
To foster this understanding, chaos is present in practically all mythological cultures, although each tradition describes it in its own way. In almost all of them, chaos is the primordial state, the "before everything," the condition in which there is no form, order, distinction, morality, or structure. It functions as the universal background upon which creation, the gods, and consciousness itself emerge.
Below, I provide an overview of the main mythologies and how each conceives chaos, so that you can integrate these ideas into what I intend to bring in this book, using archetypes with symbolic depth in the search for the understanding of the inner "I am": I am chaos. There begins the understanding of one's own consciousness.
