Synopsis

At the same time a priest is murdered on Christmas Eve, a codex containing

a terrifying and threatening secret—one capable of shaking the very

foundations of Christianity—is stolen from a monastery in Italy. Now, both

the Order known as Magister dixit, responsible for the codex's safety, and

the Vatican want it back. The former seeks to protect it, while the latter seeks

to destroy it. Both are willing to die—and, more importantly, to kill—to recover

it.Meanwhile, the powerful English scientist Andrew Sinclair, after years of

research and investment, discovers a gene that he claims is responsible for faith.

But his interests don't stop there; he is also dedicated to uncovering the

historical secrets of Christianity and the Knights Templar in the French region

of Rennes-le-Château, where Jesus supposedly spent his final days and was buried.

What motivation lies behind such extensive study and investment in these fields?

It is amidst all these events that Andreas Dorotheus—the same protagonist from

the novel The Secret of Abdera—and his inseparable friend, Chico, find themselves

entangled in yet another dangerous adventure. From the origins and secrets of the

Templars to religious mysteries hidden to this day, this novel leads the reader

through a plot filled with suspense and adventure, where stories gradually

intertwine to reveal shocking connections.

This work is a sequel to the book titled "The Secret of Abdera".
