Biblical Archaeology is a branch of Archaeology and historical sciences that aims to recover the past, giving us an understanding of the facts, places, and people who lived at a certain time. The purpose of this book is to introduce the reader to the study of the Bible so that we can be sure that the most read and best-selling book in the world is not a religious tale, but an important record of historical events that actually happened. Even though it contains fantastical stories, the Bible cannot be disregarded. Just as modern life with the advent of new technologies would have been considered absurd to ancient peoples, who possibly would not have believed what was to come, the people, places, and stories recounted in the Bible are not legends and myths. Archaeological studies have astonishingly demonstrated that the Bible, in addition to being the Word of God, is a faithful record of millennia-old events that occurred in the Middle East. This book, due to its size, is only a brief draft to introduce the reader to the archaeological evidence of the historiographical veracity of the Bible.
