É com imensa satisfação que, em nome do Rotary Club de Itaocara, se faz coordenar esta Antologia Poética, fruto da participação de autores e poetas da comunidade, e, sobretudo de alunos das Escolas (Escola Estadual Coronel José Antônio Teixeira, Escola Estadual Frei Tomás e Colégio SEI), no 3º Concurso Literário Noemi Cruz Teixeira, e, pelo segundo ano consecutivo, organizado por uma entidade não governamental, cujo certame fez parte da Semana itaocarense de artes, lazer e cultura (SILAC), por ocasião do 125º aniversário de emancipação política de Itaocara.
