Synopsis

In a luxury Lisbon hotel, an Italian tourist is murdered in a particularly cruel way. There are no usable traces, but everything points to the fact that the murderer is a woman with whom the victim had sex shortly be-fore his death. And the circumstances also suggest that the motive for the murder is a very personal one.

While Chief Superintendent Carina Andreia da Cunha and her team are still trying to reconstruct the last hours of the dead man, the next murder follows the exact same pattern. But this time Carina gets help, albeit from an unexpected source and in a way that not only upsets her professional life. A first clue finally leads Carina to the "Museu Nacional de Arqueolo-gia de Lisboa". And here, not everything is as it seems...

Ich bin Deutscher und lebe seit 12 Jahren in Portugal (7 Jahre in Lissabon und fast 5 Jahre in Setúbal). Inspiriert von der Stadt Lissabon begann ich bereits 2014, Kriminalromane zu schreiben. Mittlerweile umfasst die gesamte Reihe 12 Bände, deren Handlung in Lissabon spielt, sowie ein Kochbuch. Ich habe gerade eine neue Reihe begonnen, die in Setúbal spielen wird.

Bis heute wurden vier meiner Bücher ins Englische übersetzt.

Sou alemão e vivo em Portugal há 12 anos (7 em Lisboa e quase 5 em Setúbal). Inspirada pela cidade de Lisboa, comecei a escrever ficção policial já em 2014. Entretanto, toda a série é composta por 12 volumes, cujo enredo se situa em Lisboa, mais um livro de culinária. Acabei de iniciar uma nova série que se vai passar em Setúbal.

Até à data, quatro dos meus livros foram traduzidos para inglês.

I am German and have been living in Portugal for 12 years (7 in Lisbon and almost 5 in Setúbal). Inspired by the city of Lisbon, I started writing crime fiction in 2014. The series consists of 12 volumes, all set in Lisbon, plus a cookbook. I have just started a new series that will be set in Setúbal.

To date, four of my books have been translated into English.
