Klappentext

"My grandmother used to say that dancing is instant joy. It took me nearly forty years to realize she was also, without knowing it, teaching me the only thing I would truly need to navigate life: finding the rhythm within the chaos."

Born out of a late diagnosis, this book is an honest, intimate, and moving journey through the memories of a child who always perceived the world through a different frequency. From unspoken childhood struggles and sensory overload to adult revelations, Everton Ayres unpacks the weight of living for decades without answers—and the profound relief of finally finding them.

More than a personal memoir, this is an essential read for late-diagnosed adults, parents seeking to understand their children, educators, and anyone who has ever felt out of place. It is a powerful reminder that understanding our past is the first step toward embracing who we truly are.

Everton Ayres
