The Belgian Campaign of 1815 was the last in the Napoleonic Wars and marked the definitive end of the era of Napoleon I. This campaign pitted France against the Seventh Coalition, formed in response to Napoleon's return to power. In my historical analysis, I used a counterfactual study ("what if...") – or, as I call it, a historical simulation – about this campaign (see References), through an exchange (not in person) between two famous soldiers of history about the dramatic events of the Waterloo campaign of 1815. In developing the simulation of this campaign, I use the board game "The Last Days of the Grande Armée" from the Operational Studies Group, basically a combination of corrective actions of mine for the shortcomings recorded in the aforementioned analysis.
