Klappentext

The Battles of Latrun were a series of military engagements between the Israel Defense Forces and a brigade of the Jordanian Arab Legion on the outskirts of Latrun between 25 May and 18 July 1948, during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. To enable readers particularly interested in this topic to run their own simulations, in the “Historical Simulation” chapter of the book, I explain the reasoning behind my choice of which hypothesis to test. For the simulation of this battle, I am using a scenario I constructed for Advanced Squad Leader (by Multi-Man Publishing), a tactical-level board wargame originally marketed by Avalon Hill Games that simulates small-unit actions during World War II.
