Synopsis

I created this multilingual manual in an Excel spreadsheet, placing the original French version of The Spirits' Book by Allan Kardec side-by-side in columns. The column next to it is the translation into Portuguese, the third column is a version in Spanish, and the fourth column is the translation into English.

This way, it's possible to compare the content of the same row, both in terms of what is written in the original and how it has been translated into other languages. This allows for better understanding.

I also changed the color of the cells depending on the content. For example, Kardec's comments have a light green background; Kardec's questions have a light blue background; and the Spirits' answers have a light yellow background. This makes it easier to visually identify the origin of the text.

Finally, I created a sequential numbering for each row, i.e., verses, so that it is easy to distinguish where to find specific content. Or even search by verse number and find the desired content, as shown in the index at the end.

Sou brasileiro, aposentado, casado e tenho dois filhos. Moro em Campo Grande, capital de Mato Grosso do Sul, região central da América do Sul. Nasci em 26/01/1962 em Santa Isabel do Ivaí, Paraná, onde passei a infância. Ainda jovem fui para Naviraí MS, onde estudei e trabalhei no comércio. Ingressei na carreira bancária no banco Bamerindus e depois HSBC, base da aposentadoria. Formei-me em Técnico em Contabilidade; depois em Administração, exclusiva para Bancários.

Em Naviraí MS iniciei a carreira literária, ao escrever periodicamente poesias, poemas e crônicas para o Jornal Diário do Interior, o qual circulava em todas as cidades do cone Sul. Em 1985 publiquei o 1º livro; em 1987 o 2º, em 1992 o 3º e em 1995 o 4º livro. Nos dias atuais, fiz um resumo desses antigos trabalhos no livro Miscelânea, Crônicas e Poesias, publicado em 2024. Por exigência do banco, parei de escrever em 1995, pois foi considerada atividade paralela. Então me dediquei a diagramar e revisar livros de outros autores até aposentar. Naquela época não bastava ser escritor, precisava também ser vendedor de livros, para ao menos cobrir os custos.

Em 2022, período de quarentena da pandemia do Covid-19, com os novos recursos de publicação e venda por demanda, voltei a escrever:
